ts been 2 months since my return to lineage. I'd like to say its been 100% enjoyable to be back. Well it really has been except for an unpleasant experience I had with Nycros recently. My letter to him pretty much sums it up:

I feel a little awkward writing this but feel I must just the same.

Since I've come back I've been hoping that you would feel inclined to hook me up gear-wise a little better than you have. No i don't feel you owe me the entire 200ish mil in items that I once gave you, but certainly a significant donation isn't uncalled for.

When Rie came asking my permission to give out my gear to you, I said yes instantly as I felt you the most honorable and respectable recipient. I understood it was going toward a sahaya bow and some other unattainable items. I also thought you the most capable of returning the favor should the occasion arise.

I see you now, a very high level player, you camp FI exclusively and you know that I've been obsessing over getting an asword again asap. You get an asword as a drop and no mention of it whatsoever, then you give it to swordhunter. Fine ok, you help everyone, I can reason that. But when i ask you the simple favor of borrowing a melee weapon in the meantime, its like pulling teeth to get you to even talk about it. You know my reputation, you know i don't steal ... I was once one of the most trusted and respected leaders on the entire server and yet you seem to have no familiarity with that.

I had a great time hunting with you recently, it sort of reminded me of old times. Its just that I don't feel YOU are as I remembered you and that weighs on me ... instead of pestering you about it further I'm just not going to bother you anymore. I'm sorry for being so direct, thats just who I am though. What you see is what you get.

When I'd sent this letter I'd been back in game already about a month. Nycros did manage to hook me up with about 1 million in gear the first day I started playing again. We had different schedules so i gave him some time to see if he could help out further. After 3 good years of Lineage as his prince I dunno, I guess I expected a little more support. Thats what our pledge used to stand for, my failed assumption was that he would perhaps remember that on his own.

FYI: I'm posting this here because it was asked that I do so. The letter is exactly the same as the one I sent him in game, as I wrote it out of game first. We're not speaking anymore. He didn't even have the decency to respond.

Go figure, this the Nycros any of you remember? Certainly not the one I thought I gave my gear to.
