Been a while eh? - [54] Killerdobby on Oct/06/06 @ 8:33 am

olly crappers! i've been away for over a year! Buisness travel, gradschool, getting married, buying a house. I know none of these things matter more than WoW but jeez! how long can a gnome go without playing!!!

So i come back to find FE on Eldra'Thalas has VANISHED!! The only remaining member is Coin. Good ole' coin. Who tells me all about all that has happened. My only questions are .... where do i move my character to? Does anybody even remember me? and other than all the ... you know ... how are things?
I find the idea of a little weakling man chucking balls of magical death, and ordering around hulking demons to be... well, ammusing.

Welcome back!

Proudeagle is still in FE, though I don't spend much time on Eldre'Thalas since the Sundering (queue ominous music). I believe there may still be some folks around under the Antiestablishmentarian guild label, but to be honest I'm not certain.

If you do get info, please post it here. I see that there are lots of folks visiting the site without logging in, and it would probably be a service to at least some of them.

Also, be sure to look a few posts further down for Pesh's new r/l site, and the major events in his life.

Hope to see you online Killerdobby,
Proudeagle

The guild went off in 4 basic directions. 1. Some went to Ninox's guild for the more casual players called 'Antiestablishmentarian'; 2. A large group went to 'Hillpeople'; 3. Some went to 'The Molsen Crew'; and 3 A few including myself went to 'Celestial Knights'. What you do depends on what you want out of the game.
My character GKarr is still a member of FE (he helped start it, he'll be there at the end). I would suggest checking out AE, and then thinking about what you want to do. I suspect that BC and the change to 25 man raids is going to cause a lot of guild termoil over the next 6 months. Endgame has been designed around 40 people, BC is a big change.
Oh, and welcome back :)

I still check in now and again, the new baby is keeping me busy. My wife will be quiting her job soon to be a full time mom so that should free me up a bit more. I did reactivate my wow account for a month, not sure if I'll continue much further beyond that deadline though. Its been good to see all my friends again though! Who knows, maybe Burning Crusade will renew my interest. I may again start up the guild to be smaller and more casual this time, not really certain yet. I do know that the focus wont be on raiding if I do decide to do that. I'm pretty clear on what went wrong last time around. I admit I broke under preasure. Trying to make too many people happy for all the wrong reasons. My appologies to those who had to suffer through the end. Next time I'll know to stick to my own values.

Oh and here are the links Proud was referrring to :)
We are not the guild you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along ... *waves hand*
