[60] Foundation

GUILD STRUCTURE
- Guild Master: Tsepesh/Foundation
- Officers: Guild veterans that have shown interest in guild management by assisting the Guild Master in specific tasks. These are highly trusted individuals, qualified to speak on behalf of the guild master on most issues. Guild officers are also granted the ability to remove other guild members for bannable offenses, in addition to inviting new players into our fold.
- Veterans: Guild members that have been with us for a period of 4 months or more and achieved a maximum level character in game. (currently lvl 60) Guild veterans are highly trusted individuals, as such they are qualified to invite new players into our fold. (sometimes disabled)
- Members: Guild initiates that have proven they can conduct themselves in game in a way consistent with Foundation's overall code of conduct.
- Initiates: New players to Foundation that are awaiting promotion by the Guild Master to a full time guild member status.
NEW MEMBERSHIPS AND TRIAL PERIODS
Foundation is an invite-only guild. If a member is interested in inviting you, they'll bring it up with one of our guild officers/leaders. You will then be given a trial period to join on your main character. During this trial period you will be under the scrutiny of our guild officers, who will be looking to evaluate your compatibility with the guild. A trial period is normally best served by a few weeks of active playing. You are only allowed one character in guild while your main character remains an initiate.
MAIN CHARACTERS LEVELS AND HAVING ALTS
It is encouraged,
though NOT enforced, that each member should first try to commit to a single main character until the point they have achieved max level (currently level 60) with that character. This is due to the majority of guild members already being level max level on at least one main character. The reason for this encouragement is so that we are better able to hunt similar level content with our guild members.
However if you wish to raid with us in the end game instances, you will be required to pick a main. (
see this post)
Foundation is not a massive hardcore end-game guild, though as our playerbase inevitably grows we are destined to be able to experience some of that content. Keeping similar levels on our mains means we needn't recruit as much as the larger guilds to experience this content. It should be the goal of every member to want to participate in this way. I can't imagine why you'd want to be in a guild otherwise.
BANNABLE OFFENSES
Unfortunately, members can and will be booted from guild for:
- Unposted inactivity from game/website for longer than 1 month.
Members inactive for longer than one month without giving an official notice in writing via the website will be removed from the guild roster. Website access will also be removed. Guild membership may be renewed at a later date when playtime increases.
- Members with multiple guild memberships
No member to Foundation or Empire may have dual membership with any other guild in game. Members should be fully committed to the family or will be asked to leave. This includes membership to guilds on other servers, even ones in other time zones. Exceptions might be made exclusively for political reasons.
- Ninja looting
Members reported for repeatedly looting items out of turn or without agreement from fellow party members will be considered for removal from the guild based upon evidence of an investigation.
- Cursing in guild chat
I'll give each member 3 warnings on the use of improper language in guild chat before they are removed permanently from our roster. This includes the abuse of different spellings of words to bypass game filters.
We are not the guild you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along ... *waves hand*
